Things are getting very frightening for Ethan Powell's family as well. This young boy just turned one year old this month and has been battling cancer since his diagnosis last February when he was only two months old. The only option remaining for Ethan is a bone marrow transplant. However, the leukemia cells seem to be increasing so quickly again that they may not be able to perform the procedure on the 31st of this month as planned. His parents can really use your prayers and support also.

God give the family of these children a measure of peace. Please keep these children free from pain and suffering and fear. Help us to deal with our inability to understand when your will seems contrary to all that we believe. Amen
