What American Accent Do You Have

What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The Midland

"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.

The South

Philadelphia

The Inland North

The West

I don't think people from southern Indiana sound anything like people from Missouri. Their southern Indiana accent is most like Kentucky and Tennessee to me. I'm from central Indiana and we sound nothing like people from southern Indiana. Oh well!

Hmm, that first one's not surprising, but "The Midland" and "Philadelphia" at a virtual tie for #1 was.

Main thing I remember was the queer way people out west would look at me when I'd accidentally blurt out "ma'am" or "sir", and the Burger King employee in AZ who, when I asked them to "cut the tomato" replied, "yes, we cut ALL of our tomatoes before we put them on the burgers"...

  2. I did this some time ago and it said I was Mid West! That is just plain weird!

Wishing you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving.
