Friday Feast #184

Appetizer-- Given the choice, would you prefer to live in the country or in the city?

I've mostly lived in suburban areas during my lifetime and I longed to live farther out in the country when I was younger and raising children. My ex-husband preferred city or closer in so we always lived where he wanted based on proximity to his work. It's funny that now he lives farther out than I do! As I get older, I see distinct advantages to living in town. I'm not sure that's really my preference, just that it might make things easier for me down the line.

Soup-- Who is the cutest kid you know?

I have the five cutest, absolutely adorable, gifted and beautiful granddaughters in the world. I'm not sure what the point of this question is or how I could possibly name one over the others or some other child over any of them!

Salad-- Fill in the blank: I couldn’t believe it when I heard ___________.

I'm sure there has to be something appropriate that I could mention but the only things I can think of right now are extremely personal and best left unmentioned on this very public blog.

Main Course-- If you could star in a commercial for one of your favorite products, which one would you want to advertise?

It would probably be food related. I just am not sure what food product or perhaps even a restaurant I would choose to pimp myself out for. Then again, I could choose something to do with music or computers. I guess I could sell out for several things, depending on the compensation involved!

Dessert-- What type(s) of vitamins and/or supplements do you take on a regular basis?

Calcium and a vitamin B 100 Complex. I've taken others over time but they were dropped once I felt that there was no benefit for me in taking them.

Just pondering - It seems to me that my answers to these exact same questions or most of them would probably be different on any other given day. It's like that on most of my feasts. There are only a few questions where my answers would be absolute and unlikely to change over time or mood shifts. Is it the same for you or do your answers tend to be absolute?

In answer to our question: I think my answers would be pretty much the same to these, with the exception of the "I heard..." one.

Good feast--happy Friday :-)

Hi Marsha. Great feast. Thanks also for checking out my other posts. Feel free to drop by any time.

In terms of the questions, some of my answers depend on my mood at the moment. A variation of the commercial question was asked a few months ago, and my answer was fitness center instead of iPod. Other questions that depend on facts as answers, such as the vitamin question, would be consistent.

Thank you for your visit! B12, no problem here - do your research and go armed to your Doc with why you want it. If denied, arrange a second opinion ... it's your body, no-one knows it better than you, be assertive and persist! Happy Easter!

MOST of the feast questions are very mood sensitive - in my opinion! But... I believe we are answering them on this particular Friday - and the answers should speak how we feel today! Again - JMO! I don't think we need to get to deep with these things! :)

I'm sO glad you didn't pick ONE grand over the others -- Easter might have been a disaster! LOL!

Questions for FF are answered according to my mood that particular day. However, the soup and dessert would be my constant.

Hope you have a blessed Easter holiday.

Nice feast!!

Just as I am an emotional eater, I imagine that I have emotional/mood-related responses to most Feast questions.

And sometimes my mood is 'That's a goofy question!'

Thanks for coming by!

Happy Friday. For this particular feast, my answers would probably be pretty much the same. Except, like Marianne said, the "I heard" question.

Other questions.. it depends. One reason I don't really get bent out of shape when we have "leftovers"... plus I don't get a chance to visit every blog every time!

Great feast. Love the honesty in the main course. BTW, my answers highly depends on the mood I'm in. Even my posts (opinions) change over time. But I'd like to go back to old posts and see how my thoughts back when...

My answers would be different on any given day to the same question as well. Very few are absolute! I loved your terminology about Pimping yourself out for a commercial. That made me laugh! Thanks so much for stopping by :)

Great feast. I also like the convenience of being close to town but prefer the quiet, laid back style of being in the country.

When I do the Feasts, I give myself a ten minute time limit start-to-finish, including finding the pictures and posting time. This tends to make my answers quick, but also means I don't get a lot of time to think about my answers, which I hope makes them more spontaneous, and honest.

I don't find I re-think my answers too much that way.

Vry nice feast, BTW. Thgink about adding some Vitamin C to your supplements, too.

I think I'm lucky that I don't have any children yet and only 1 nephew because you're right, how could you possibly choose any other? :)

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

You're absolutely right about the absolute answers (pardon the pun).

I agree, there's is no way I would come up with the same answers for the same questions on two consecutive days. Well, at least that's how it works in my case!

Have a great FF, and thanks for dropping by!

very true - not saying at all that I'm not strong in my convictions, but already I am thinking - shoes, advertise SHOES. And if I'm going to have the chance to own a FABULOUS array of shoes, why be in the country where no one will see them?
AND
I forgot! I don't take ginseng - it's
hehe
ginko biloba for memory . . .

Have a wonderful Easter weekend!
