This is such a rich scene: I can imagine sitting down for a meal here and spending a very long time working my way through whatever delights appear at the table.

Thanks all for the wonderful comments. This is actually my duaghter's photograph from a trip to
Scotland. I was hard pressed to choose a photo from the collection she sent to me because of the haunting beauty of the country side there. I chose this one because it seemed to tell a story without words which is what Wordless Wednesday is about... right?
