I don't think people from southern Indiana sound anything like people from Missouri. Their southern Indiana accent is most like Kentucky and Tennessee to me. I'm from central Indiana and we sound nothing like people from southern Indiana. Oh well!

Hmm, that first one's not surprising, but "The Midland" and "Philadelphia" at a virtual tie for #1 was.
Main thing I remember was the queer way people out west would look at me when I'd accidentally blurt out "ma'am" or "sir", and the Burger King employee in AZ who, when I asked them to "cut the tomato" replied, "yes, we cut ALL of our tomatoes before we put them on the burgers"...
I did this some time ago and it said I was Mid West! That is just plain weird!
